That's actually a nice insight. For all the time I've spent tinkering with the method, I sadly never got the chance to test it under a big crew, as the company I worked for wasn't that big.

It's funny to note that, since a few updates back in Figma, creating and managing components became way easier and streamlined, like when they added the instance swap feature.

In some cases I still believe nesting some parts of a component to can grant some benefits, nevertheless, the general idea is to experiment, and testing ways to make a nesting logic works at least can grant you knowledge of how components in Figma works.

But I'm very glad to hear other views in the subject. I will give your texts a read and give some feedback! 😁
